The Museum Store is located in the Captain Jonathan Parker House on the Museum’s campus at the corner of Parker and West Bay Roads, Osterville, MA. It features a wide variety of items related to Osterville’s long history as a maritime, boat building, fishing, farming and recreational seaside community. Among these are porcelain pieces reminiscent of the China trade, sea glass jewelry, items for children and books on the history of the village and the building and sailing of the vintage boats identified with it.

 The Museum Store is open during regular Museum hours and by appointment. All proceeds of sale are used to support the educational mission of the Museum and the preservation of its buildings and the artifacts in its collection. Members receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases.

Osterville Historical Museum Hats: These salty Museum visor caps with an embroidered catboat design and adjustable headband may be ordered in either Nantucket Red or Cape Cod Blue. $16.00  
Osterville, Images of America, by Shirley EastmanTwo-hundred vintage photos tell the story of Osterville from the time hardy colonists, determined to make a living harvesting oysters, settled this tiny seaside village in the 1700s. Osterville follows its evolution, as a haven for captains of great merchant ships, a center for building Cape Cod catboats and Wianno Seniors by  Crosby family boat shops and a summer playground for such storied families as the Mellons and DuPonts. $19.99
Catboat Pins and Zipper Pulls:  These replicas of a Cape Cod catboat as pins or zipper pulls show the distinctive hull and sailing rig developed in the 1800’s as a workboat and later developed into popular racing and recreational cruising vessels.   $10.00
The Boy, Me and the Cat, Cruise of the Mascot 1912 – 1913 by Henry M. Plummer:  This turn of the century classic narrative about a father and son’s adventure sailing down the eastern seaboard from Massachusetts to Florida and back aboard a 24’ Cape Cod catboat appears in a newly enhanced edition which includes nearly 100 newly discovered photographs as well as many original drawings by the author. $29.95 
Catboat Stockings: These 6” virgin wool catboat design stockings are made in Maine especially for our Museum.  Festive in green and red, they are perfect for that special gift or as trim on tree or wreath. $10.00  
Boxed Notecards (10) - Schooner, Frances Edwards – Captain Nathan West, Master:     These notecards, blank inside, are quality reproductions of the oil on canvas by William P. Stubbs (American, 1842-1909) which hangs in the Captain Jonathan Parker House. $12.00
[Photo on-the-way] Building the Crosby Cat by Barry Thomas:  In this book Barry Thomas presents nearly lost knowledge of the methods used by the Crosby family to build catboats at Osterville, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, between 1880 and 1935. $9.95
Lady of the Sound – The Wianno Senior DVD:  Lady of the Sound tells in image and sound the story of the Wianno Senior sailboat from the building of the first Seniors in 1913 to the devastating 2003 fire at Crosby Yacht Yard and subsequent efforts to rebuild the fleet. (35 min.)   $29.95
